We need our students to engage in this kind of lying. We need to teach them to use maps, and charts, and wordsmithing to spread ridiculously wrong ideas. They need to play with the kind of things that we tell them to be wary of:
My gut tells me that if they can lie convincingly, they will start to wonder “If I can do this, who else might be doing it to me right now?”
